While not strictly a TV character (he stars in his own Web-based cartoon), MushiMaro is certainly a popular phenomenon. He is a white rabbit who looks like a marshmallow (hence the name - imagine somebody pronouncing it with a stereotypic Japanese accent), and is trying to come to terms with bein "different".
